Spotlighting your project & making memories

It can be a simple thank you, a way to celebrate a milestone, or the recognition of someone dear. Regardless of the reason a quilt is created, it’s a blend of form and function that wraps us in warmth.

Milestone & Memorial Quilts

A great way to create a truly personalized quilt is with a Milestone quilt. These quilts (also referred to as t-shirt blankets) can include the different jerseys of the teams your child played on over the years. The possibilities are endless: You can incorporate the teams’ colors into a quilt design spotlighting each activity through the years. Add by adding an embroidered name and dates, it becomes a map that tracks your child’s growth and adventures!

Memorial quilts are a wonderful way to keep the memories of a loved one close. Similar to a Milestone quilt, this quilt incorporates pieces of favorite dresses, shirts, sweaters, or coats into a beautiful, functional keepsake to be used and loved every day. It truly is the perfect way to keep someone close and remember their favorite things.

Project Completion

Life happens, priorities shift, and focus is needed elsewhere. That’s okay. I want to help you finish any projects that don’t fit in your schedule. Think of me as an extra set of hands.

It could be as simple as cutting material in preparation for a piecing marathon, finding that last bit of coordinating fabric for a long-forgotten project, or adding a border and hand stitching the binding.

Let’s chat! Consultation is free and you may find exactly what you need.

Clarification from the start.

Similar to how I approach quilt Repair & Restoration, details are the foundation to success. This means that once you submit a Project Form, we’ll chat during our initial (no charge) consultation to clarify what you have in mind and explore possible options so you can make an informed decision.

It also means you’ll have complete understanding of what materials will be used, the timeline to expect, and the cost. All captured in writing so you can review options and understand how they differ, and refer back at any time to the work discussed.

It’s important to me that you’re completely comfortable and all your questions are answered. I take great pride in the work I do and am excited to be part of your next project!
